Amy Locane, the former Melrose Place star has been charged with killing a woman after allegedly crashing her car. Police detected the smell of alcohol on her breath after the accident and she has allegedly admitted drinking several glasses of wine before taking the wheel of her car.

The actress was driving her Chevy Tahoe in New Jersey when it collided with another vehicle on Sunday night.

According to a statement released by the Somerset County Prosecutor's office, passenger Helen Seeman was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver, Fred Seeman, was flown to a hospital and is in critical condition. Amy Locane, suffered minor cuts to her right foot.
